1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Cult Translator, Cult Connector and related services provided by Cult Extensions (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing, installing, accessing, or using our tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Cult Connector and Cult Translator are a software solutions designed to assist in translation and localization workflows.
The Service may include:
- License validation
- Subscription-based access
- Integration with third-party translation APIs
- Integration with external systems, including Translation Management Systems (TMS)
We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue features at our discretion.
3. License Grant
Subject to compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cult Connector or Cult Translator within the scope of your selected subscription plan.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Circumvent license enforcement mechanisms
- Resell or sublicense the software
- Remove proprietary notices
All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Cult Extensions.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscriptions are managed through secure third-party payment processors.
By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay applicable fees
- Authorize recurring billing where applicable
- Provide accurate billing information
Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal conditions are presented at the time of purchase.
We do not store payment card information.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with infrastructure or attempt unauthorized access
- Submit content in violation of applicable law
- Attempt to bypass technical limitations or usage restrictions
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. Third-Party Services
Cult Connector and Cult Translator relies on third-party services, which may include:
- Cloud hosting providers
- Payment processors
- Translation API providers
- Analytics providers
We are not responsible for interruptions, limitations, or failures caused by third-party services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have rights to process any content submitted through the Service
- Complying with applicable data protection laws
- Maintaining the confidentiality of license credentials
Cult Extensions does not independently verify the legality of submitted content.
8. Translation Disclaimer
Translation output is generated through automated processing and may not be accurate or suitable for all purposes.
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy
- Completeness
- Suitability for legal or regulatory use
Users remain responsible for reviewing and validating translated content.
9. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
Translation content is transmitted for processing but is not stored in our database.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Cult Extensions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cult Extensions from claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of applicable laws
- Content submitted through the Service
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access:
- For violation of these Terms
- For non-payment
- If required by law
You may discontinue use at any time.
Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred.
14. Governing Framework
These Terms operate internationally and shall be governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the service provider is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable local law.
The parties agree to seek amicable resolution of disputes before initiating formal proceedings.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
